Editor's Note
Caps and gowns are going on across the Northeast. Commencement is the single highest-traffic weekend most campus stores will see until fall move-in — and the buying window is right now. Families are on campus, alumni are back, and everyone is looking for something to take home.
This issue covers what your floor should look like heading into graduation: stickers, family garments, and the accessories that move during commencement weekend. We're also introducing the Warner Bros. co-brand program — Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo are now available for your campus store. Plus, a look at what UCLA just did with their Hello Kitty pop-up that every store should see.

Graduation Is the Floor Reset
Commencement weekend brings a different buyer to your store — parents, grandparents, siblings, and alumni. They shop differently than students. They're looking for gifts, keepsakes, and anything that says proud family. Your floor should be ready for them.
Here's what should be stocked and visible heading into May.

Co-Brand Programs Warner Bros. Is HereLooney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, Flintstones, Tweety, Daffy, and Marvin the Martian are now available as co-brand programs through Blue 84. These are characters with multigenerational recognition — they sell to students, parents, and alumni in equal measure. The full line includes tees, long sleeves, fleece crews, hoodies, women's fits, youth, and Zephyr headwear.

UCLA's Hello Kitty Pop-Up — What It Looks Like When You Go All In
The UCLA campus store just built out a full Hello Kitty × Bruins pop-up section — and it's worth studying. This isn't a few pieces on an endcap. It's a dedicated zone with professional Blue 84 and Zephyr branded signage, a custom chalk-art ceiling mural of Hello Kitty in UCLA blue, and a deep product assortment spanning tees, hoodies, and Zephyr caps across multiple colorways.
The product mix covers the full range — gold and white UCLA × Hello Kitty tees, cream and pink hoodies, and Zephyr caps in blue, white, and black. Packaged accessories round out the display. Every product carries the Blue 84 label and Zephyr branding.
